Together, we can give voice to the voiceless,
sew a broken soul, and tell
stories in minutes.
We’re missing a heart, but we
have fingers and a voice.
Not artificially, no,
the words aren’t our own nor
will they ever be, but
strum us together
or apart
and let us
tell unwritten stories
through the melody of music
Is this song about Foghat?

This reminds me of the time when I only knew around four chords, composed a simple song, and sent it to someone as a birthday present. Music, even in basic simplicity, can be enough to put a smile on someone’s face.

You are so right. It’s pretty crazy how a simple song or line of words strung together can create such a big impact on someone.

Reblogged this on Living Life and commented:
I’ve never been someone who could sit down and right stories, poems, or songs. But I loved writing. I still do. I try often to write beautiful melodies with words and after a while I realize it was a worthless try. But I still get up and try. I love writing about my thoughts and my life. That’s the closest I get to telling a story. In the last week I’ve read from this persons blog often. I fell in love their writing. I picture his stories so vividly.
The reason I’m sharing his post and not one of my own is because I don’t have the ability to create a story this vivid. But it encourages me to keep trying. I’m only 20 I have all the time in the world right? Right! And so do you. I hope for someone else his writing can keep encouraging you as they do for me.
Enjoy
Talk soon,
