the delicate imperfections
differ from the norm,
and it’s why
we’re afraid to look without staring.
In our minds
broken is taboo,
broken is frowned upon,
broken starts conflict.

if broken is anything

So, I’ve gone through and read some of your poems, and I must say that I absolutely love them. This one particularly resonates with some of the things going on in my life right now, and it’s so beautiful. This honestly makes me feel a bit better about the situation I’ve found myself in, and it’s giving me hope that things will get better. I’m really moved by this. I like to write poetry as well, and I can only hope to write something this powerful.
